Hallo Hallo Job joins Jose Rizal University’s job fair by Philippine Daily Inquirer
Hallo Hallo Job (HHJ) teams up with Philippine Daily Inquirer in providing career opportunities to Jose Rizal University's (JRU) graduating students during the two-day employment event at the main campus last January 18 and 19, 2018.
HHJ has always been present in Inquirer's job events in the past, but this is the first time that they participated with JRU's OJT fair, where the company presented almost a hundred vacancies from its affiliates together with 60 other companies in the Metro.
Eighty percent of the companies which joined the event were also present last year to look for possible individuals to become part of their growing team. Out of the 800 students who signed up in the previous year, more than 70% were hired by these organizations.
The event formally started with a ribbon cutting by Vice-President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), Miguel Carpio, along with Dean of College of Business Administration and Accountancy, Dr. Leodigario David; Dean of Liberal Arts, Criminology and Education, Dr. Henry Magat and a representative from Inquirer to witness the important gathering.
According to VPAA Carpio, through this annual event of the University, the community puts a huge importance and focus in employability. “We're happy that you're sharing that opportunity with all of us. Of course, we would like to share with you how much we prepare our students as well."
“We think about placing students and having them properly, gainfully, productively employed. We are again hoping that we can get a greater percentage, not only 80-85%, and I'm sure that you will get the best of what we have here in the University. we will be forever grateful for all of you, spending time with us," he concluded.
Tokyo Girls Collection Shop is set to open in Japan Town at Vertis North Mall
Hallohallo Inc. (HHI) will soon open the pioneer in fashion events in Japan, Tokyo Girls Collection Shop or “TGC Shop" inside one of the biggest commercial complex facility in Quezon City operated by Ayala Malls, Vertis North Mall with the theme “bringing Japan's real clothes to the world".
The opening of the TGC Shop here in the Philippines will be done under the second wave of collaborative projects between HHI and the joint-venture company between Mitsubishi Corp, and Ayala Land of the Ayala Group, which is the biggest conglomerate in the Philippines in partnership with Japan's leader in fashion trends, Tokyo Girls Collection (head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, president and CEO of W TOKYO Inc.: Noriyoshi Murakami).
The TGC Shop, leading Japan's fashion market in the Philippines, will carry apparel, accessories, wigs, hair extensions and other products inspired by the "kawaii" culture that is famous among Japanese teenagers and young adults in their 20s. It will embark the creation of new entertainment from the Philippines to the world through the Kawaii x Fashion x Internet formula.
Furthermore, it will regularly hold events attracting kawaii-related idols and models in Japan, as well as fashion shows and other events using its built-in runway inside the TGC Shop, with the help of Japanese models and from the idol group MNL48 managed by HHI, which is engaged in the production of Japan Town at a vast space measuring approximately 4,230 sqm inside Vertis North Mall.
Given the demands of the Internet culture nowadays, HHI expects massive demand from the younger generation who are fashion conscious by live streaming the event stage in partnership with the live video streaming platform SHOWROOM (head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, president and CEO: Yuji Maeda), as well as selling items and other products from brands associated with idols and models through live commerce.
On the press briefing which will be held on December 13th at Tokyo, Japan, HHI's President and CEO Yasunari Okada will provide explanations regarding the business, and will hold a talk session together with W Tokyo's President and CEO Noriyoshi Murakami, and SHOWROOM's President and CEO Yuji Maeda.

Hallo Hallo Job (HHJ) continues to become true to their mission in increasing the employment rate in the country by consistently providing new positions in the company and their affiliates in joining the employment events organized by different companies in the Philippines.
Hundreds of local and International job vacancies were offered by almost 50 companies both field and office-based work at the two-day job fair of JobQuest last November 20-21, 2017 at Trinoma Mall, Quezon City. Present to conduct the initial assessment with the applicants was Human Resource (HR) Representative Mabel Perez together with the Marketing and PR Department.
Aimed at getting the position of HR Assistant, a group of Psychology graduates Desiree Beato, HazelSiraichi, Gelina Espeleta and Alyana Robel from Our Lady of Fatima applied at HHJ during the event.They shared that the location of the company is the number one factor they consider in choosing the company they're applying to.
"Basta po yung makaka-help saamin para madevelop pa yung skills in terms of HR roles, tska sa malapit lang po kasi taga Quezon City kaming apat. And hindi pa po kasi namin na-experience lahat nung internship namin sa NFA, so gusto po namin ng mga challenging tasks and responsibilities," Siraichi explained.
AKB48 Team 8 is back in Manila for MNL48 grand registration and audition
The highest-selling and phenomenal all-girl idol group, AKB48's Team 8 will be visiting the Philippines on December 2 and 3 at the ABS-CBN Compound in support for the MNL48 Grand Registration and Audition.
MNL48 idol search is now down to its last few legs of its nationwide registration and audition tour,where it is currently in Cebu City, in search for talented and charming Filipinas between 15 to 20 years old who dream to be part of the biggest idol group in the country. The tour will hold its final stop at ABS-CBN compound to give MNL48 hopefuls a last chance to register, showcase their talent and get a chance to meet the seven members of Team 8.
Aside from gracing the last venue of the registration and audition tour, AKB48 Team 8 Honda Hitomi,Hidaritomo Ayaka, Yokomichi Yuri, Nagano Serika, Ota Nao, Nakano Ikumi, and Hitomi Kotone will also be guesting on several Kapamilya shows including ABS-CBN's Prime Tanghali show, "It's Showtime" where the MNL48 idol search will be airing this coming 2018.
Before the MNL48 Grand Registration and Audition on December, the tour will be heading to several venues in Davao City including Rizal Park on November 25.
As the tour nearly comes to an end, applicants are encouraged to campaign to gather more supporters because unlike other competitions, this idol search will have no set of panel judges and will rely 100% on audience vote.
This will be Team 8's third time to visit the Philippines as the members held their first fan meeting and hi-touch event in Manila and perform during the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Japan-Philippines friendship last year.
With AKB48's presence, the final registration and audition is expected to be the biggest event of the nationwide tour as applicants will get a support from the actual members of AKB48 who hopes to be able to share the stage with their newest sister group soon.

Hallo Hallo Job is gaining more members as the largest corporate indexing and job posting site attends back-to-back job fair with Island Exhibit and Asian Institute Management (AIM) at the same time last November 7 and 8 in Mandaluyong and Makati City.
Island Exhibit held its two-day monthly job fair at SM Megamall to provide career opportunities and business growth in the country and abroad. With 30 companies including HHJ as one of the exhibitors, HHJ presented wide variety of job vacancies for fresh graduates and experienced professionals from its affiliate companies.
Also, HHJ joined AIM's second mini job fair of the year where high-level job listing from partner companies such as BELO Medical Group, The Manila Times Publishing Corporation, and Monark CATare presented to students taking Master in Business Administration (MBA) program.
Fulfilling its mission "Trabaho sa Bawat Pilipino", first-time jobseekers at the Island Exhibit Joe Neri applying as Graphic Designer and Andrea Santos aiming to be employed as an Administrative Assistant are eager to be hired immediately.
Neri, who has nine years' experience in graphic designing, underscored that importance of work-life balance in his next job. "It's not just about the work of course, you got to let them (employee) feel that work-life balance, " he expressed.
On the other hand, a fresh graduate with one month experience as a reliever, Santos is looking for a company with better benefits and a healthy workplace environment. Despite living in Morong, Rizal,the 22-year-old prefers to look for job vacancies in Manila or Pasig area as it has more opportunities for her.
MBA in the making
MBA students at AIM are keen on taking job opportunities where skills and knowledge they have acquired throughout the 16-month program are practiced and further developed.
Nancy Kemepeneers, who will be graduating before 2017 ends, shared that she is looking forward on taking more challenging roles for employment. "I don't have a particular industry that I'm looking for but I do have a particular roles—business development or operation roles that I'm considering," she said.
Both job fairs were attended by numerous jobseekers eyeing different career opportunities,especially in Island Exhibit where more than 3,000 online registrants were documented.
