A diverse and dynamic crowd of over 1,200 professionals, experts, and leaders all gathered at the SMX Convention Center on August 29 and 30 for the much anticipated 12th Philippine HR Congress. Among them is Hallohallo Inc.'s very own, Ms. Ma. Lucia Cielito D. Camayang, HR Manager and Ms. Gina S. Dalisay, HR Officer.
The Philippine HR Congress is a yearly event organized by ARIVA Academy Philippines which had its humble beginnings with their first congress in 2006. Every theme is uniquely conceptualized depending on the current or imminent trends in the world of business and how HR can grow and transform as time goes by.
This year's theme is called "PRISM of Possibilities: Focus on the Future", where the word PRISM stands for the five essential components of a Human Resources Management—People Performance Management, Recruitment, Onboarding and Retention, Innovation and Improvement, Strategic HRM,and finally, Motivation and Employee Development.
A group of distinguished local and international speakers were brought together to discuss modern HR subject matters that professionals must know, need, and do to adapt to the ever changing landscape of society.
Mr. Colin Blackwell, pictured above, inspires the audience to reinvent human resources by adjusting and welcoming technology and modernization, especially with the rise of artificial intelligence.
Dr. Roland Sullivan, one of the original 100 Change Agents in the world and CEO and founder of Sullivan Transformation Agents, encourages the HR community to be the facilitator of change and to take a leap into the future as we enter a so-called age of transformation.
As the congress reached its culmination, the event's organizers called for a celebration of HR Appreciation Day, to give the HR community recognition and praise for their countless hours of hard work and perseverance to make sure their respective companies are working like a well-oiled machine.
