Public Employment Service Office (PESO) invites Hallo Hallo Job (HHJ) and more than 50 other companies to Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Taguig (PUP-T) Job Quest 2019 on April 5, to bring job vacancies to the university's graduating students.

An approximate of 400 students will be graduating on the month of May with different outstanding courses such as Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management and a lot more for employers to choose from at the event.

One of the major functions of the University is research, which they think as a key component of scholarship and teaching. PUP-T also believes that education is the instrument for the development of the citizenry, and the enhancement of nation building.

One of the students who applied for the position of Account Executive in Hallo Hallo Job shared that she's planning to work before taking her board exam to be financially prepared.

"Gusto ko po talaga mag hanap muna ng job para 'yung parents ko hindi na sila mahihirapan magisip saan kukuha ng money na kakailanganin ko," Kristine Nolledo said, a graduating student of Secondary Education Major in English.

Officer-in-charge of PESO Taguig, Mr. Norman Mirabel emphasized that one of the priority projects of incumbent Mayor of Taguig City Laarni Lopez Cayetano is to minimize and reduce the employment rate in the city. He noted that it is important to know how to turn your valuable ideas into exciting and viable opportunities.

"PUP graduates, you will not only be highly employable but also enterprising, band Entrepreneurial because of your life skills, knowledge and personal attributes to match the eye of the employers Just have the attitude, initiative and ability to recognize opportunities and be confident to face them," he said addressing to the graduates.

Mirabel further elaborated that the reason why a lot of people are unemployed is because of their attitude in applying for work. "Ang ating applicants ay choosy po, nandiyan na ang ating mga employers, sana applyan niyo silang lahat. Opportunity knocks once, grab it kasi hindi na mauulit 'yun. Do your best and God will do the rest."

"Sa mga employers, choose wisely and 'yung may loyalty sa trabaho hindi naghahanap lang dahil wala siyang magawa," he ended.

Some of the companies who joined are Ace Hardware, Bench, China Bank, Empire East Land Holdings, P.J Lhuillier, Miniso, Toyota, SM Hypermarket Bicutan, SM Supermarket Aura, BDO, and a lot more.
