1st Leg Career Expo 2018 at Mapúa University
For the past decades, Mapúa University has establish itself and progressed by offering programs in different field such as Engineering and Sciences, Architecture and Design, Media Studies, Social Sciences, and Business and Management. The university is known for delivering topnotch engineers nationwide and international since their mission is to be the premier technology school that offers student enticement programs designed to ensure a better future.
Recently, Mapúa has been awarded a three-star rating from Quacquerelli Symonds of United Kingdom and received recognition from Commission on Higher Education as the aforementioned university. Also, the university is the first Philippine and Southeast Asian educational institution to receive Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET) certification.
On March 6, 2018, the university held its 1st leg of their Career Expo this year at Mapúa gymnasium from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Every year, Center for Career Services (CCS) organizes a quarterly on-campus job fair to provide employment opportunities to their graduating students and alumni one week before the graduation as the university celebrates graduation four times a year.
During the Career Expo 2018, some of the exhibitors had their career talks and Ms. Marjorie Orantes, placement assistant reminded the first batch of graduating students on their obligations concerning their graduation at Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) this coming Thursday.
With over 1000 registered job hunters and 452 graduating students that will be finishing this coming March 8, 2018; 82 exhibitors join Mapua University's 1st Leg Career Expo 2018, including Hallo Hallo Job (HHJ), Hallohallo Inc. (HHI) and its partner companies.
Upon the registration, students of multimedia arts and Mapúa alumni showed their interest in joining the growing team of HHI and its alliance Hallohallo Entertainment Inc. (HHE) as web designer and graphic designer.Mapúa Univesity is one of the universities tied up with HHJ and HHI this year.
