We are seeking to enlarge their Help Desk, Product Support and Training team with a Manila based associate to support the company's growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The Product Support and Training Executive will engage with Industrial Optimizers' clients to provide first class and timely support to any queries that arise.
Whilst primarily interacting with clients based in The Philippines and the rest of the Asia Pacific region, the team member will also work with the wider IO team and may provide support to customers outside of the region. The team member will also take part in training users of MP2. Activities will be via telephone and email but will also involve face-to-face interaction with clients at their places of business.
The ideal candidate will be an adept user of computer systems and keen to learn new skills. They will have a knowledge of the transportation industry, with experience in or an enthusiasm for the commercial aviation sector being of particular benefit.
Logging, responding to and assisting with incoming queries to Help Desk via telephone and email
Troubleshooting of clients' issues encountered whilst using software and provision of actionable tips to resolve problems
Sending technical documentation to clients who have lost/misplaced theirs
Conferral/referral on/of complex cases with/to other IO team members located in Europe
Visiting clients' offices in order to provide support and training
Calibration of software
Contribution to planning and development of customer implementation projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages will be considered an advantage.
Experience of working in a multicultural environment and a preparedness to engage with colleagues and clients based around the world
An analytical mind able to see the power of data
Ability and enthusiasm for learning new skills
Ability to both work independently and collaboratively
A knowledge of optimization technics would be advantageous
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server would be beneficial
With pleasing personality or presentable.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information
Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): active directory administration, windows server, linux admin, NOC, SQL.
At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer -
Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
Full-Time position(s) available.
Working Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Manila Time
