Customer Technical Support Electrical Engineer - Eastwood
With the release of their new 'flagship' AT5600 transformer test product, they are seeking a versatile professional Support Engineer who will be responsible for the well-being of Company's customers.
Day to Day Activities
Application support at low and medium level-gradually improving to advanced level
Able to respond to web input / emails from customers
Able to answer phone and make customer feel good about contacting us.
Able to properly record activities in database to manage the sale/support pipeline
Able to send pre-prepared but customized emails to customers in their territory
Willing to cold call potential customers.
Support to customers through the info/demo/quote process.
This will include
Keeping customers under active management
Answering incoming customer questions, by phone or email
Understanding customers market segment, their use of our products, and level of satisfaction with our products.
Assisting any potential new customers to understand the scope and benefits of our solutions, and to provide any requested information (e.g. quotes for product, technical documentation or worked test examples etc.)
Following up quotes with the customer to ensure they are as required, to maintain contact and understanding of the customer's needs.
Acknowledging orders to customers + keeping customers up to date on any delivery changes
Understanding the nature of customers more technical support questions.
Following up with each customer after each support question is answered to ensure the customer has received the information he needs.
We anticipate that the ideal candidate will be able to investigate, simulate (using provided Company's equipment and sample parts) and answer questions themselves, but there will always be a support network behind them.
Electrical degree so can thoroughly understand our markets and products - Knowledge of basic AC power theory, Transformers
Very good verbal and written English so customers have no difficulty in understanding
Willing to work American time zones.
Customer orientated. Able to communicate easily, with enthusiasm, by telephone as well as e mail
Able to have a dedicated work area where a set of our equipment can be set up to allow them to provide app support away from any others for safety reasons.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7 pm to 4 am Manila time
