JOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Control Staff - Wire production (May 2018) The Quality Control Staff is expected to learn, understand, and perform the following set of tasks: Receive products which have been completed by Wire Production Inspect each product received from Wire Production and determine if products pass applicable quality standards. If quality standarads are not met, product should be returned to Wire Production for repair or should be replaced if it is beyond repair. Monitor status of products which have been determined as for repair. Since "for repair" products should be returned to Wire Production, it is important to monitor and follow-up the status of these products. "For repair" products should be immediately acted upon by Wire Production, and should be submitted to Quality Control Staff for re-inspection after the repair process. Products which are considered beyond repair should be documented and replaced by Wire Production. Documentation for products to be replaced should be submitted to Receiving and Accounting Departments for recording. Products which are considered to pass applicable quality standards should be documented. Documentation should be submitted to Receiving Department for recording. Actual products which pass the applicable quality standards should be forwarded to Receiving Department for processing. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Saturday 8:00AM to 5:00PM JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Must be College Graduate A degree in Industrial Engineering, or any related Engineering course, is preferred.
