Responsibilities:

Develop pricing models in Excel and Prophet

Check/review policy contracts, forms, sales illustrations for correctness and compliance with regulations

Do product write-up for Product Approval Report (actuarial sections)

Answer queries of Group Actuarial on product pricing

Conduct actuarial experience studies

Prepare product filing with the InsComm

Skills & Experience Required:

Have proficiency in creating/developing pricing models for new products in Excel; able to write macro programs

Have proficiency in setting pricing assumptions; able to rationalize assumptions through experience review, market comparison and culling of industry experience/assumptions

Have knowledge to perform a reasonable review of forms, contracts, sales illustrations

Have experience in product submission to the IC

Can carefully review/make corrections to Product Gate submissions prepared by Product Management team

Have experience in conducting Experience Studies (e.g. Expense Analysis, Withdrawal Experience Study, etc.)

At least 1 year experience in Product Pricing

Proficient in Excel; background in Prophet very favourable

Has met either one of the following:

One (1) exam away from Associateship;

A newly designated Associate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines;

Candidate must have completed at least 3 out of 5 courses or near Associate Level
