Duties & Responsibilities: Welcomes customers in a friendly and courteous manner; lead them to vacant tables when necessary (or their preferred seats during non- peak hours) and sees to it that they are attended to properly.
Ensures proper handling of food on trays or take-out packages and ensures that they are done according to prescribed standards, hygiene and sanitation.
Informs counter/kitchen of any follow-up orders.
Regularly checks on customer for any additional orders or requests.
Checks cleanliness of tables, chairs, floor areas, and clean them up immediately whenever necessary.
Ensures that condiments and supplies are well stocked.
Checks cleanliness of the common sink/wash area and comfort room; ensures that supplies are always replenished (i.e. soap, bathroom tissue- if available).
Assigned in preparation and maintenance of other things such as: walls, doors, lights, spoon and fork.
When requested, explains or describes to customer menu items, food serving and provides background and type of food served at the store.
Serves food as required; asks customers if they require further assistance o Handles customer complaints and suggestions in the most appropriate manner. In case when customers require/request for special order, it is expected that such can be executed properly and in case of doubt, seek guidance from Supervisor/Manager.
