Provides third-level application support for application users; problem solving; developing solutions; performance monitoring and improvements; change management; system management; on-call support
Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex systems issues
Uses expertise to come up with good recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the existing systems and processes
Able to successfully implement his/her improvement recommendations and verify effectiveness of the improvement solution and meeting agreed on success criteria
Facilitates and leads Root Cause / Corrective Actions (RCCA) analysis for recurring and major issues encountered to ensure non-recurrence of the problem
Facilitates planning sessions and actual execution of some periodic maintenance activities and upgrades for the infrastructure
Reviews updated process and procedure documentation to verify accuracy of the technical information and provides inputs for improvement, if any
Perform the agreed upon action plans / tasks to achieve set individual metrics and contribute to the achievement of the Team goals Education/Language
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area required
Written and verbal proficiency in English
Experience / Skills
2 - 3 years of related experience in development and implementation projects
Experience with Load Balancing (i.e. application load balancing; network load balancers)
Advanced knowledge and experience with application installation, setup and administration
Advanced knowledge and experience with setup and maintenance of application servers (i.e. JBoss, WebLogic, etc.)
