Description

The successful applicant is expected to apply legal knowledge and experience in rendering contract support to internal customers which shall consist of drafting, review, negotiations and discussions with internal and external customers and vendors in accordance with company policies. The successful applicant must be able to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers with the aim of assisting the Business Leaders evaluating risk and making informed decisions in relation to the business.

The successful applicant is expected to monitor, implement and improve internal compliance policies. The applicant is expected to render compliance support to various Emerson sales offices in Asia Pacific which shall include conduct of Due Diligence on customers and vendors as well provision of training to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide Contract Support including but not limited to, contract drafting, review, and negotiation;

Establish Frame Agreements, Global Agreements and other types of agreements with customers and vendors of Emerson Sales Offices in Asia Pacific;

Ensure supported sites have updated contracts review policies and monitor compliance of the same;

Ensure understanding and compliance by internal customers of company Compliance Policies.

Monitor and assist supported sites on Due Diligence checks on customers and vendors.

Conduct regular contracts and compliance training to supported sites.

Management and administration of internal compliance tools to support Emerson Sales Offices in Asia Pacific.

Render other legal support as needed. Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Law or equivalent.

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
